About the Opportunity
Bank of New Zealand is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join its Home Lending Modernisation team in Auckland. In this role, you will work closely with Home Lending Product Managers and wider subject-matter experts to help shape and deliver improved home loan products and services for customers. You will be part of a large BA community of more than 30 analysts, with access to shared support, guidance, and collaboration across a broad range of initiatives.
Role Summary
This is a full-time fixed-term position for 18 months, based in Auckland. The working model is hybrid, with three days in the office and two days available for flexible work.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with project teams to improve existing systems and support the design and delivery of new ones.
- Review workflows, build process maps, and identify opportunities to make processes better.
- Write user stories that clearly translate business needs for both business and technology audiences.
- Lead and coordinate user acceptance testing to confirm solutions are effective, functional, and easy to use.
- Create supporting materials and help train end users after implementation.
