About the Role
The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is a globally recognized institution pioneering cancer diagnostics and treatment through innovation, research, and education. We are seeking a committed Specialist Biomedical Scientist (Band 6) to join our Haematology and Blood Transfusion service at our Sutton location. This position provides a valuable opportunity to enhance specialist expertise, work independently, and contribute to service improvements within an advanced oncology laboratory setting.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will perform a wide range of analytical tasks, rotating through all sections of the Haematology department. They will frequently work autonomously, especially during times without senior supervision. Collaboration across various pathology departments and coordination with the broader Trust staff will be required to support effective patient care.
