AO+ Advisory Services Private Limited is a specialized Australian accounting and advisory firm formed as a joint venture between experienced Indian Chartered Accountants and an Australian CPA practice. Our mission is to offer high-quality bookkeeping, accounting, taxation, payroll, and business advisory solutions to Australian accounting firms and businesses. As we expand, we seek a skilled, motivated Senior Australian Tax & Business Services Accountant to join our team and engage directly with Australian accounting firms and a diverse range of business sectors.
Role Overview
The Senior Accountant will oversee a portfolio of Australian accounting assignments, review junior colleagues' work, uphold quality standards, mentor team members, and assist Australian partners in advisory roles. Past experience with Australian accounting and outsourcing is essential.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals following Australian standards.
- Complete Australian income tax returns and manage BAS, IAS, and other ATO compliance reports.
- Supervise bookkeeping and accounting tasks while verifying GST, payroll, and reconciliation processes.
- Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards, tax law, and ATO requirements.
- Review deliverables from junior accountants to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Identify potential accounting and compliance issues before finalizing work.
- Maintain meticulous documentation and manage workflows across multiple clients.
- Collaborate with Australian managers on business advisory, tax planning, and restructuring efforts.
- Build strong relationships with Australian firms, identify improvements, and mentor junior staff.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce.
- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA Australia or CMA qualification, or currently pursuing one.
- 3–5 years’ relevant experience in Australian accounting and outsourcing.
- Proficiency in preparing Australian financial reports, tax returns, BAS, IAS, and thorough GST knowledge.
- Experience reviewing junior staff’s work and using cloud accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.

- Strong grasp of Australian taxation and accounting rules.

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Salary & Working Conditions
The salary ranges between ₹50,000 and ₹100,000 per month, dependent on experience, capabilities, and fit. Exceptional candidates may receive an enhanced package reflecting their expertise and leadership qualities. The position operates from the office or a serviced office, with working hours from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM IST.
