About the Role

DBS is a leading player in treasury operations, offering a diverse range of capabilities in foreign exchange, derivatives, money market, and securities trading to corporations and financial institutions. The Global Financial Markets division provides comprehensive solutions to meet the hedging and investment demands of DBS clients, with a focus on the Asia region. The team excels in SGD and regional products, supported by strong customer-centric research and an expanding distribution network.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Asia Credit Trading activities with an emphasis on market making and supporting franchise trading flows.
• Proactively handle risk exposure and convey market risk perspectives.
• Develop and present trade ideas to engage institutional and wealth management clients across the region.
• Expand the franchise footprint globally while delivering timely market updates and analysis to clients.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams involved in primary markets.

Candidate Requirements

• Between 3 to 5 years of experience in trading or a similar risk-focused credit trading role.
• Demonstrated ability to take and manage risks in multiple credit products such as corporate bonds, government bonds, financial futures, index CDS, single-name CDS, and interest rate swaps.
• Highly motivated and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders and clients.
