Job Overview
The Senior Associate - Amazon Fresh is tasked with fostering productive partnerships with vendors, ensuring their operational excellence, and driving ongoing process enhancements. Responsibilities encompass vendor onboarding, catalog quality enhancement, prompt resolution of discrepancies, and ongoing performance monitoring.
Primary Duties
- Continuously enhance product catalog quality and streamline reporting processes through automation aligned with business needs.
- Observe and analyze key vendor metrics including fill rate, adherence to delivery schedules, and product quality standards.
- Enforce vendor adherence to prescribed guidelines and internal processes.
- Address vendor inquiries and operational challenges promptly to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate across departments to refine vendor-related operations and workflows.
- Keep vendor data and documentation up to date and accurate.
- Assist in onboarding initiatives and provide training support to vendor partners.
- Identify opportunities and implement improvements within vendor management processes.
- Generate regular reports evaluating vendor performance trends for management review.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of two years’ experience in vendor management or business operations roles.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with relationship management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with data analysis tools.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of SQL and capacity to create and maintain data queries.
- Experience with automation tools and reporting frameworks to enhance efficiency.
- Prior exposure to dynamic retail environments is advantageous.
Additional Responsibilities
- Facilitate execution of critical programs by ensuring timely and accurate inputs through collaboration.
- Manage catalog-related tasks and oversee key operational data streams.
- Publish updates and maintain dashboards to track performance.
- Develop and sustain automation for reporting where practical.
- Create and manage a repository of SQL queries and macros for ad hoc reporting needs.
