Senior Associate / Manager – Fundraising & Donor Recruitment

About the Role

DATRI Blood Stem Cell Donors Registry is seeking a motivated and impact-driven professional to lead fundraising efforts and donor recruitment activities across Kerala. This position focuses on developing partnerships, mobilizing resources, and growing the donor base to support the organization’s life-saving stem cell donation mission.

Fundraising Responsibilities

• Create and implement fundraising plans that support DATRI’s mission and broader organizational objectives.
• Identify potential supporters through outreach, networking, and referrals to build a consistent funding pipeline.
• Build strong relationships with corporates under CSR, trusts, foundations, high-net-worth individuals, and individual donors.
• Arrange and lead meetings, presentations, and proposal conversations to secure financial support.
• Organize and run fundraising campaigns, events, and activities across digital and offline channels.
• Work with industry groups, business communities, and local organizations to meet fundraising goals.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to improve donor engagement and long-term stewardship.

Donor Recruitment Responsibilities

• Find opportunities and generate leads for donor recruitment drives across corporates, colleges, healthcare institutions, clubs, and community networks.
• Deliver awareness talks and presentations that explain the importance of voluntary donor registration.
• Ensure all donor recruitment work follows DATRI’s standards, processes, and quality requirements.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders to broaden outreach for donor recruitment.
• Coordinate field campaign arrangements, including sample collection and dispatch to the Head Office.
• Build, activate, and manage a volunteer network that supports donor recruitment initiatives.
• Record and update leads, campaign activity, and donor data accurately in Zoho CRM.

Reporting and Performance Management

• Monitor fundraising and donor recruitment activities and share updates on a regular basis.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and present performance summaries to the National Head.
• Track targets closely and take corrective action when needed to stay on course.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will bring 4–8 years of relevant experience in fundraising, CSR partnerships, business development, sales, donor recruitment, or non-profit management. This role requires excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities, along with exposure to corporates, trusts, foundations, educational institutions, and community groups. The person should be comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools, work well independently in a remote setup, and remain highly target-oriented. Extensive travel within the assigned region is part of the role.
