Job description
Role Overview
Join the Transformation Office within the Strategic Planning and Policy Division at the Ministry of Law (MinLaw), Singapore. This unit spearheads public sector transformation efforts aligned with whole-of-government (WOG) initiatives, fostering innovation and organisational development within the Ministry.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate broader WOG transformation strategies into tailored initiatives for MinLaw’s organisational change efforts.
- Develop and lead organisational development programs.
- Guide and support business units in planning and implementing transformation projects.
- Coordinate and manage corporate events aimed at promoting organisational development and innovation.
- Provide secretariat support for transformation-focused meetings within MinLaw.
Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise in Organisational Development (OD) and/or Change Management.
- Preferably knowledgeable about public service transformation, innovation, and OD within the public sector.
- Minimum of two years relevant work experience.
- Proven ability to convert conceptual ideas into actionable strategies and plans.
- Resourceful, capable of identifying and leveraging resources for plan execution.
- Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational, planning, and interpersonal abilities.
- Self-driven, resilient, results-focused with a capacity to perform independently and collaboratively under pressure.

- Change Management: Assess organisational readiness and risks concerning change, devising interventions to facilitate smooth transitions.

Additional Information
Candidates initially appointed will serve on a one-year contract with possibility for renewal. While the position starts with a focused role, there is flexibility to work across multiple sections within the division based on competence and development needs.
