Role Opportunity
We are hiring a Senior Architectural Visualisation Artist (also known as Multimedia Designer) to join our expanding Pre-Rendered team located in Freemans Bay, Auckland. This full-time permanent position offers a competitive salary between $100,000 and $130,000 annually. Guided by an Executive Creative Director recently relocated from London, this role provides access to global proprietary processes, world-class intellectual property, and an innovative collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects from initial concepts through to final deliverables with complete independence.
- Create photorealistic images, animations, and VR experiences leveraging best-in-class visual storytelling techniques.
- Apply expert knowledge of architectural visualization pipelines, maintaining high standards of file organization and quality.
- Mentor junior team members and provide direction during client engagements to shape creative results.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience, preferably within a studio setup; equivalent expertise with at least 5 years in Multimedia Design considered.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating mastery in lighting, composition, and cinematic techniques.
- High proficiency with 3ds Max and Corona or Vray rendering engines; familiarity with Unreal Engine and AI tools like ComfyUI or Stable Diffusion is highly advantageous.
- Ability to interpret architectural documents (drawings, schedules) and convert them into engaging visual content.
- Expertise in animation workflows, including camera animation and asset movement, plus editing skills in After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills fostering constructive team collaboration.
- A proactive approach to growth, experimentation, and embracing emerging technologies.
Working Conditions & Location
This primarily office-based position is located at our Auckland studio emphasizing in-person teamwork, with some flexibility for hybrid arrangements. Fully remote applications are not being considered at this time. We also support visa sponsorship for suitable candidates willing to relocate independently.
