This opportunity is suited to a driven investment banking professional who is ready to take on meaningful execution responsibility while partnering closely with senior bankers on major domestic and cross-border transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the execution of mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory assignments, and capital markets transactions within the FIG sector.
- Develop and update detailed financial models, valuation work, merger analyses, and client-facing presentation materials.
- Carry out in-depth market and industry research across asset management, wealth management, banking, payments, lending, and fintech.
- Help prepare pitch books, information memoranda, management presentations, and other transaction documents.
- Support due diligence activity and coordinate with clients, investors, legal counsel, and other parties involved in the deal process.
- Coach and support junior analysts while helping maintain strong team output and execution standards.
- Take part in business development work and broader sector coverage initiatives.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or mergers and acquisitions.
- Previous exposure to FIG is highly desirable, especially in asset and wealth management, banking, specialty finance, fintech/payments, or financial technology.
- Strong capability in accounting, valuation, and financial modelling.
- Hands-on experience supporting live M&A and capital raising transactions.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication ability, and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage several workstreams at once.
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record.
What’s on offer
- Exposure to leading FIG transactions across Europe.
- High levels of responsibility and client contact from the outset.
- The chance to work with respected senior bankers and sector specialists.
- A collaborative and entrepreneurial team environment.
- A clear path for progression within a growing, established platform.
- A competitive compensation package with bonus and benefits.
