About the Role
An innovative European industrial technology firm is advancing from pilot manufacturing toward full-scale industrial deployment and is seeking a Senior Advisor to assist during this crucial growth phase. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the CEO and Board, delivering strategic advice focused on capital acquisition, investor relations, corporate development, and long-term growth trajectories. The Senior Advisor will leverage extensive experience and credibility to guide the company through rapid expansion, potentially leading to a future Board or Chair position.
Key Duties
- Serve as a reliable consultant to the CEO on strategic priorities and corporate decisions.
- Facilitate Board-level governance and discussions.
- Engage with institutional and strategic investors along with European financial entities.
- Assist in developing investment documents, managing due diligence efforts, and preparing investor briefings.
- Offer strategic counsel during financing talks and negotiation phases.
- Utilize relevant investor and industry contacts when appropriate.
- Aid in crafting supply chain, procurement, and customer partnership strategies.
- Identify potential areas for corporate growth, market expansion, and strategic collaborations.
- Advise on organizational expansion, alliances, and long-term business development.
- Evaluate prospective growth opportunities including new markets, technologies, and partnerships.
- Advise on creating a scalable industrial framework supporting international expansion.
- Interact with governmental agencies, industry groups, and strategic partners.
- Guide navigation of the European industrial and investment environment.
- Strengthen connections within the broader industrial ecosystem.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have held senior executive roles such as CEO, President, Managing Director, or Executive VP within capital-heavy industrial enterprises. They should demonstrate hands-on experience guiding companies through significant manufacturing scale-ups and investment phases, combining operational knowledge with strategic financial acumen.
- Proven leadership in industrial firms during scale-up from pilot to commercial production.
- Experience operating in capital-intensive manufacturing environments.
- Background in leading or supporting major European fundraising activities.
- Strong networks with institutional investors, strategic investors, infrastructure funds, and European financial institutions.
- Board governance experience including investor relations and corporate planning.
- Expertise in corporate development, commercial partnerships, and strategic growth.
- Experience working within founder-led or high-growth industrial businesses.
