Role Overview

We seek a Senior Accounts Executive to oversee the entire financial cycle for our professional services. Working closely with leadership, program managers, clients, vendors, and partners, you will guarantee precise invoicing, timely payments, and accurate bookkeeping integral to our L&D firm’s operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end client invoicing ensuring correctness in program milestones, tax treatment, and adherence to proposals and purchase orders.
  • Track payments via client accounts payable portals and diligently follow up on outstanding receivables to resolution.
  • Maintain an active receivables ledger with aging reports to identify risks promptly and reconcile client accounts regularly.
  • Handle vendor management including onboarding, agreement administration, invoice validation, payment disbursement, and ensure alignment with program budgets.
  • Administer financial dealings with domestic and international partners encompassing licensing fees, royalties, certification fees, including foreign currency transactions and remittance coordination.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records, ensure GST and TDS compliance, participate in monthly reconciliation, and support audit processes comprehensively.
  • Oversee employee expense reimbursements, petty cash, contribute to payroll coordination, and enhance financial processes for scalability.

Candidate Profile

  • B.Com or M.Com degree with 4 to 7 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in consulting, professional services, or learning and development sectors.
  • Proficiency in Tally or Zoho Books and strong Excel skills.
  • Good grasp of GST, TDS, statutory compliance for private limited companies.
  • Experience with client AP systems and purchase order based invoicing.
  • Highly organized with excellent follow-up skills, attention to detail, and ability to own tasks independently.
  • Fluency in Kannada is essential along with strong English communication; knowledge of Tamil or Hindi is beneficial.
