This Senior Accountant position, based in Dubai with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days onsite, 2 days remote), reports to the Finance Manager. It supports the finance operations across multiple legal entities within an international business, requiring adherence to group policies and IFRS standards, while closely collaborating with internal stakeholders including Shared Service Centers and Treasury.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full accounting functions including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Accounts Receivable, and month-end closing activities.
  • Conduct monthly financial closing and reporting to the Global Headquarters.
  • Handle accounting activities for multiple legal entities, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all books.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's Internal Control System.
  • Work collaboratively with Global Shared Service Centers (Accounts Payable), Global Treasury, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Prepare financial statements and manage VAT and corporate income tax compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or ACA, or near completion of such qualification.
  • Between 4 to 7 years of experience in a multinational organization, with familiarity in intercompany transactions, foreign exchange (FX), matrix organizational structures, and global shared service centers.
  • Proficiency in IFRS financial reporting standards.
  • Strong knowledge of VAT and corporate income tax regulations.

Skills and Competencies

  • Experience with ERP systems like SAP ECC or SAP S4/Hana.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel functions including XLOOKUP, INDEX, SUMIFS, and pivot tables.
  • Capability in multi-entity financial reporting.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal; additional European languages are advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn, grow professionally, and maintain a lean operational mindset.
  • Keen interest in AI technologies.

Additional Information

Compliance with non-negotiable requirements such as multinational experience, SAP ERP familiarity, advanced Excel proficiency, and strong English communication is mandatory.
