About the Company
This is a C2 company playing a crucial role in the advancement of the Saudi airports sector. The organization is responsible for the management and operation of various airports, encompassing both domestic and international facilities. With a strategic vision to establish a sophisticated airport network, the company aims to bolster tourism, elevate service quality, and optimize operational efficiency. This aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 through airport development and the enhancement of investment prospects.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
The role involves a range of operational accounting duties, including the accurate recording of daily financial transactions within the accounting system. Periodic review and updating of financial records are essential to maintain accuracy and adherence to accounting standards. The position requires the preparation of monthly financial statements, trial balances, and other pertinent financial reports. A key aspect of the role is analyzing financial data to offer recommendations for enhancing financial performance. This includes performing monthly account reconciliations to ensure consistency with accounting records and handling bank reconciliations to resolve any financial discrepancies. Ensuring compliance with established accounting policies, procedures, and relevant financial regulations is paramount. The accountant will monitor financial transactions for adherence to company standards and regulations. Collaboration with external and internal auditors is expected, involving the provision of necessary documentation and account preparation for audits. Maintaining audit-ready financial records and ensuring their accurate presentation during audits is critical. The role also entails analyzing financial accounts to identify and correct errors or irregularities, and providing analytical reports on financial performance with recommendations for improved efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related discipline is required. Candidates should possess 3 to 6 years of relevant professional experience. Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages is a mandatory requirement for this position.
