Job Description

• Maintain and continuously update the general ledger to ensure all financial transactions such as journal entries, receipts, and payments are accurately classified and recorded.
• Oversee accounts receivable and payable operations, including managing vendor invoices, confirming payment authorizations, processing payments, and monitoring outstanding receivables to guarantee timely collections.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements, intercompany transactions, and subsidiary ledgers to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
• Support compliance efforts by preparing and submitting VAT returns in alignment with Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) guidelines, and ensure adherence to e-invoicing requirements.
• Assist the finance department during month-end and year-end close processes by preparing accruals, prepayments, and depreciation reports.
• Compile preliminary financial reports including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements for management analysis.
• Provide comprehensive documentation and analytical support to both internal and external auditors during annual audits.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• Have 3 to 5 years of proven accounting experience, preferably within professional services, engineering consulting firms, or corporate settings in Saudi Arabia.
• Registration with the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA) is strongly preferred or required. Progress towards CPA, CMA, or ACCA certifications is advantageous.
