Role Summary

The Senior Accountant role is a full-time remote position responsible for managing essential accounting and financial reporting functions both for the company and its dealership clients. Key responsibilities include handling general ledger entries, preparing timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, and conducting account reconciliations. The role entails analyzing financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards while supporting audit and regulatory requirements. Collaboration with internal teams and external dealership clients is crucial for financial interpretation, process optimization, and strategic decision support. Additionally, this role drives improvements in processes, system upgrades, and establishment of best practices related to financial controls and reporting.

Qualifications and Skills

• Comprehensive expertise in financial accounting, general ledger upkeep, and financial statement preparation
• Experienced in account reconciliations, variance analysis, and managing month-end and year-end closing cycles
• Proficient in accounting software, ERP platforms, and advanced Microsoft Excel functionalities
• Well-versed in GAAP standards, internal control frameworks, and auditing procedures
• Capability to analyze complex financial information and articulate clear, actionable recommendations to stakeholders
• Strong organizational aptitude with attention to detail and ability to meet diverse deadlines in a remote work setting
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines; CPA certification or equivalent preferred
