Payroll Accountant - Multi-Company & High-Volume

Experts Plus Recruitment Services, a key player in the staffing and recruitment sector, seeks an experienced accounting professional to oversee complex payroll and financial processes. This position centers on managing payroll operations for a large workforce, multi-company accounting systems, and intercompany financial transactions. The successful candidate will ensure precise financial management, regulatory compliance, and efficient daily finance activities across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of payroll for a large employee base exceeding 1000 staff members.
• Ensure salaries are paid promptly adhering to UAE laws and Wage Protection System (WPS) standards.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and produce detailed reports.
• Keep comprehensive and accurate payroll documentation across various entities.
• Oversee accounting functions spanning multiple companies and entities.
• Compile consolidated and individual financial statements.
• Manage precise intercompany cost allocations and reconciliations.
• Record and reconcile transactions and balances among associated companies.
• Maintain compliance documentation and ensure adherence to internal policies across entities.
• Control cost distribution and inter-company transfers with accuracy.
• Handle client invoicing and supplier billing efficiently.
• Maintain accuracy in managing accounts payable and receivable ledgers.
• Track and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collections.
• Generate VAT-compliant invoices as per UAE tax regulations.
• Assist with audit processes by providing necessary financial documentation and support.

Candidate Requirements

• Background in staffing, recruitment, outsourcing, or manpower supply companies.
• Proven experience managing payroll for employee numbers exceeding 1000.
• Demonstrated capability handling both payroll and client invoicing responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience, ideally within multi-company accounting environments.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT and tax legislations.
• Practical experience in bank reconciliations and intercompany accounting procedures.
• Competent in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or equivalent platforms.
• Experience collaborating with payroll teams, finance managers, auditors, and client representatives.
• Strong command of written and spoken English; Arabic language skills considered advantageous.
