Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Account Manager to join a compliance technology scale-up specializing in AI supervision software for regulated financial firms such as broker-dealers, RIAs, and asset managers. This company serves compliance teams operating under strict SEC and FINRA regulations. The position is fully remote, preferably based in New York, but open to candidates elsewhere with the right experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of the company's most significant and complex accounts, focusing on growth rather than merely maintaining relationships.
- Drive expansion revenue with real quotas, closing deals typically ranging from $100,000 to over $500,000 with deal cycles between 6 to 12 months.
- Engage regularly with C-suite executives to secure new business opportunities and executive-level sponsorships across 80% or more of your accounts.
- Lead cross-functional deal teams comprising Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Legal departments to effectively close enterprise sales.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing and exceeding a $750,000+ expansion quota in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated success closing complex enterprise sales involving procurement, C-suite executives, and buying committees.
- Capability to lead multidisciplinary deal teams rather than operating solo.
- Previous experience in selling to regulated financial services or RegTech/compliance sectors is a distinct advantage.
Performance Expectations
- Achieve at least $750,000 in expansion revenue annually.
- Maintain executive sponsorships across over 80% of your portfolio.
- Ensure a gross retention rate exceeding 95%.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary between $100,000 and $120,000 with an on-target earnings (OTE) of $170,000 to $200,000.
- Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- 401(k) plan with a 3% employer contribution regardless of employee input.
- 20 days of paid time off annually, plus an additional day off for your birthday.
- Enhanced family leave programs and equity options.
- A monthly $100 lifestyle allowance to support work-life balance.
