About the Role
The Senior Account Manager will oversee important client partnerships, help grow revenue, and reinforce durable commercial relationships. The position blends senior account stewardship with proactive new business efforts, aiming to keep clients satisfied while expanding existing accounts and meeting business goals. It calls for strong skills in relationship building, negotiation, sales, and strategic planning to improve profitability and support growth.
Department and Location
This role sits within the Commercial department and is based in Dubai, UAE. It is a full-time position.
Main Objectives
- Keep clients loyal and maintain strong working relationships.
- Drive sales growth and meet revenue targets.
- Grow business from current customers through upselling and cross-selling.
- Support market expansion through new business development.
- Manage strategic accounts with a long-term commercial focus.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main contact for assigned strategic and key accounts.
- Develop trusted client relationships through regular interaction and consistent follow-up.
- Assess client needs and recommend solutions that fit the company’s services and capabilities.
- Handle account-related discussions such as contracts, renewals, pricing, and commercial terms.
- Create and implement account plans that support retention and revenue expansion.
- Meet or surpass monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales and revenue goals.
- Spot opportunities to increase business through upselling and cross-selling.
- Generate fresh business opportunities and help grow the company’s market footprint.
- Prepare strong presentations, commercial proposals, and service demos tailored to client needs.
- Work closely with operations, finance, quality, product, and customer service teams to ensure smooth delivery.
- Confirm that client commitments are delivered according to agreed SLAs and SOWs.
- Manage client issues, complaints, and escalations promptly and professionally.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and industry changes to identify opportunities and risks.
- Keep sales forecasts, pipeline updates, account notes, and CRM data accurate and current.
- Produce regular management reports on account health, revenue, feedback, and pipeline progress.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, networking sessions, and business meetings.
- Assist junior account team members when needed and contribute to commercial planning work.
KPIs
- Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Client retention at 90% or above.
- Revenue growth from existing accounts via upselling and cross-selling.
- Timely completion of contract renewals and commercial closures.
- Healthy pipeline volume and conversion performance.
- Strong customer satisfaction scores from feedback and surveys.
- Growth in strategic and key accounts.
- Accurate forecasting and reporting.

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in account management, business development, or B2B sales.
- Background in handling strategic or enterprise-level accounts.
- Strong capability in selling, negotiating, and managing client relationships.
- Confident communication and presentation skills.
- Good commercial judgment and a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to juggle multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
- Experience in service-driven industries is preferred.
- Comfort using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an added advantage.
