About the Company
Hengli Hydraulics UK & Ireland Ltd is the recently founded UK and Ireland branch of Hengli Hydraulics, a worldwide leader in high-performance hydraulic systems. The company supplies major OEMs in construction, agriculture, and industrial sectors globally.
Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Account Manager to spearhead and foster relationships with key customers in the construction and industrial OEM segments in the UK and Ireland. This senior role is client-facing and demands strong commercial insight, technical expertise, and the ability to manage long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership and expand key OEM accounts.
- Lead commercial negotiations, manage pricing, and establish long-term supply contracts.
- Work in close coordination with engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain teams.
- Assist new product launches and engage in technical dialogue at the OEM level.
- Identify and pursue growth possibilities within existing and prospective accounts.
- Represent Hengli at client locations, industry gatherings, and technical meetings.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a strong history as a senior account manager working with large construction OEM clients, combined with comprehensive hydraulic systems knowledge.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Extensive experience handling major construction OEM accounts.
- Solid understanding of hydraulic components such as pumps, motors, valves, and cylinders.
- Commercially savvy with proven ability to manage enduring OEM supplier relationships.
- Capable of interfacing confidently with engineering, procurement, and executive leaders.
- Valid UK driving licence required.
Preferred Attributes
- Technical or engineering background in mechanical, hydraulic, or related fields.
- Experience collaborating with global or Tier-1 hydraulic vendors.
- Familiarity with OEM development processes, validation, and PPAP-type protocols.
