Role Overview
We are looking for responsible and professional Security Officers to join our team located in Hornby, Christchurch. This part-time position focuses on delivering excellent security presence and customer service within a shopping centre setting.
Key Duties
- Conduct regular patrols to protect people, property, and assets.
- Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor as a security representative.
- Respond quickly to alarms, emergencies, incidents, and support requests.
- Evaluate risks and take actions aligned with defined protocols.
- Strictly follow company and site-specific security procedures.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and keep accurate documentation.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold a valid Security Licence and Certificate of Approval (COA).
- Possession of current First Aid and CPR certification is required.
- Relevant prior security experience, especially in retail, is advantageous.
- Available to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, specifically Saturdays 5:00 PM to 10:15 PM.
- Physically fit to undertake patrol duties independently.
- Strong attention to detail with a dependable and punctual work ethic.
- Authorized to work in New Zealand.

Additional Information
