Security Assistant with Secret Clearance (Hourly) - Orlando, FL

Overview

Lockheed Martin's Security Operations Center (LMSOC) is searching for a highly skilled Security Assistant Senior Specialist to enhance our centralized personnel security clearance program. This position involves delivering advanced security services supporting both domestic and international initiatives, including assisting internal security staff and external government agencies. The role demands familiarity with personnel security processes and the ability to operate independently with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
• Manage Security Information Management System (SIMS) administration duties.
• Oversee Security Central system operations.
• Handle applicant tracking system management.
• Analyze clearance and pre-employment data to advise proper measures.
• Investigate and resolve escalated clearance and employment tracking issues.
• Provide prompt and effective customer support to applicants, employees, security personnel, recruiters, and managers.
• Assist various Mission Support Teams with designated tasks as required.

• Self-motivated and results-driven, capable of juggling multiple assignments simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.
• Proficient in handling multiple systems at once with great accuracy.

• Skilled in accurate data entry tasks.
• Must hold at least an active Interim Secret security clearance before starting.
