Primary Duties
- Develop and conduct diverse lesson plans and study programs effectively.
- Utilize digital learning tools proficiently, specifically the Canvas platform for online education.
- Possess strong content knowledge and apply effective teaching methods for engaging students in virtual classrooms.
- Commit to ongoing professional growth through coaching and training opportunities.
- Ensure a secure, child-safe learning environment aligned with mandated safety standards.
- Complete induction and mandatory training on child safety and implement all relevant policies consistently.
- Follow the school's code of conduct and promptly report any child safety concerns through established protocols.
- Respect and incorporate student perspectives and feedback in decision-making related to their education and wellbeing.
- Promote and demonstrate school values and vision in all interactions and teaching practices.
- Deliver curriculum content to senior students and develop online VCE course materials.
- Maintain accurate attendance and academic progress records for students.
- Apply strategic student behavior management compliant with school policies.
- Participate actively in staff meetings and chapel activities inclusive of devotions and prayer.
Role Overview
The position invites qualified secondary educators specialized in English and Humanities to teach Years 7 through 11 from 2026 onwards, working full-time on-site at the Cranbourne South location. Employment will be subject to verification of identity, work rights in Australia, and child safety clearances in line with Christian Education Ministries (CEM) regulations.
Required Qualifications & Eligibility
- Legal entitlement to work in Australia and verified identity documentation.
- Possession of a recognized teaching qualification.
- Current and clear Working with Children Check where applicable.
- Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
- Proof of prior experience in child-related employment roles and accompanying references.
