Role overview
We are looking for a Second Chef to support the Head Chef in a busy kitchen environment in Aberdeen. This role suits someone who enjoys producing quality food, working at pace, and contributing to a team that focuses on consistently positive guest experiences.
The position involves early starts, beginning as early as 3:00 am, alongside a mix of shifts that keeps the working day varied. As part of the kitchen team, you will help uphold food quality and brand standards while working closely with an award-winning food team.

What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have experience in fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environments and a strong understanding of ingredients, food preparation methods, and culinary techniques. You should also be comfortable using a range of kitchen equipment efficiently and effectively.
Knowledge of hospitality operations, along with an understanding of profit and loss, key performance indicators, health and safety rules, and licensing laws, is important for success in this role. Strong communication, leadership, organisation, and multitasking skills are also essential.
You must be willing to provide details covering the last five years of your work, education, or personal history, and you should be comfortable with a criminal record check.

Working pattern
This is an on-site full-time kitchen role in Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom. Early morning shifts begin from 3:00 am, and the rota includes a variety of shifts.
