Role summary

This is a seasonal, full-time support role built to assist Book Fair coordinators during peak season. The position is intended for people who want structured, meaningful work with a predictable schedule and a clear end date. You will handle customer support, help schools manage their book fairs, and work from standard procedures and live support queues.

This role is not responsible for long-term project ownership, escalation management, or cross-functional program leadership; those responsibilities belong to permanent full-time employees.

Schedule and duration

The assignment runs from approximately August 31, 2026 through November 20, 2026. Weekly hours are scheduled between 25 and 35, and overtime is not allowed. Hours can change from week to week depending on seasonal coverage needs. The department operates from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM CST. Employment ends when the season closes, and any future seasonal work would be optional and not guaranteed.

Compensation and benefits

The pay rate for this role is $17.50 per hour. Compensation is fixed and non-negotiable. As a seasonal employee, you are not eligible for standard company benefits except for any benefits required by federal, state, or local law.

What you will do

  • Respond to customer questions by phone and email.
  • Provide personalized support to the school contact running the book fair.
  • Check in regularly with the school contact to help the fair run smoothly.
  • Share resources that help with planning and operating the book fair.
  • Support Business Development Representatives and Account Managers internally.
  • Use Google Sheets, Slack, and Salesforce in day-to-day work.
  • Coordinate customer requests so fairs remain stocked throughout the event.
  • Update the CRM after customer issues are resolved.
  • Guide customers on how to use the Square register.
