Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday workweek
• Eight-hour daily shifts

Role Overview

We seek a meticulous, dependable, and skilled Seamstress to join our expanding team on a full-time basis. This role includes a probation period leading to a permanent position, starting as soon as possible at our Krugersdorp, Gauteng location.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Interpret sewing patterns with precision
• Construct luxury robes according to detailed specifications
• Assemble garments incorporating pre-embroidered chenille panels
• Carry out garment alterations and repairs as needed
• Inspect fabrics prior to production
• Consistently deliver superior workmanship
• Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines
• Maintain an organized and efficient workspace
• Support product development and sample creation initiatives
• Train future seamstresses as the team expands

Candidate Requirements

• Experience within clothing or garment production sectors
• Proficiency in using industrial sewing machines and overlockers
• Ability to independently thread, configure, and manage industrial equipment
• Comprehensive knowledge of garment construction techniques
• Experience sewing collars, pockets, and handling cotton linings
• Comfortable working with heavy materials such as fleece and chenille
• Excellence in finishing techniques producing luxury-level quality
• Accuracy in following sewing patterns
