Role Overview
The organization is looking for a Scrum Master for a remote assignment with its client. This position calls for someone with solid experience running Agile teams, leading Scrum meetings, and supporting PMO activities in a ServiceNow setting. The right candidate will be a team-oriented leader who can coach others, reinforce Agile practices, and help ensure projects are delivered successfully through ongoing improvement.
Key Duties
- Lead Agile and Scrum events such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach cross-functional teams on Agile values and practical Scrum methods.
- Work closely with the PMO to assist with planning, sprint delivery, and overall execution.
- Oversee Agile workstreams and project activity through ServiceNow Agile Project Management.
- Clear blockers so teams can stay aligned with sprint targets and project outcomes.
- Support Agile change efforts and encourage continuous improvement across processes.
- Track sprint health, project measures, and team output to support successful delivery.
- Promote strong communication between stakeholders, product owners, and development teams.
- Guide team members and build a collaborative, accountable working culture.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or another related technical discipline is preferred.
- Equivalent professional experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
- At least 10 years of total professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Scrum Master or Requirements Analyst.
- Practical experience with ServiceNow Agile Project Management.
- Strong knowledge of Agile delivery methods and the Scrum framework.
- Background supporting PMO processes and Agile project execution.
- Proven ability to lead Agile transformation across enterprise initiatives.
- Excellent skills in communication, facilitation, leadership, and stakeholder coordination.
- Active Public Trust clearance is required.
Preferred Credentials
- PMP certification.
- CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe Scrum Master, or another Agile certification.
- Experience supporting large enterprise or government technology programs.
