Overview
STAFFXPERT LLC is looking to fill the role of Business Analyst / ATO Support Analyst for a remote position. This role acts as a critical interface between business stakeholders and technical teams while ensuring security compliance and governance standards are upheld across a group of enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements from various stakeholders.
- Convert business needs into detailed, actionable requirements for development and technical teams.
- Act as a communication bridge among stakeholders, project leaders, and the technical teams.
- Maintain and regularly update security compliance documents such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), control narratives, and related evidence.
- Oversee compliance processes ensuring all documentation is current and ready for audits.
- Create and sustain business process documentation including workflows, diagrams, user manuals, and job aids.
- Support initiatives related to accessibility compliance and manage the associated documentation.
- Track project requirements, deliverables, risks, and key compliance milestones.
- Collaborate closely with data governance, reporting, and technical units to align business and reporting specifications.
- Engage actively in stakeholder meetings, workshops, and project assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in business analysis, requirements documentation, system documentation, or compliance support roles.
- Proven familiarity with maintaining security and compliance documentation such as SSPs, POA&Ms, and control documentation.
- Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST standards, and security compliance procedures.
- Strong analytical thinking, documentation expertise, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, suitable for engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience producing process flow diagrams, business requirements documents, and related project materials.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in security authorization, compliance, or audit support within regulated industries.
- Understanding of accessibility compliance requirements and documentation.
- Experience working in Agile development teams.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps or comparable project management software.
- Background supporting large scale enterprise or government initiatives.
- Relevant security or compliance certifications such as CISSP, CAP, Security+, or CISA.
