Job description
Role Overview
Bounteous is seeking a skilled Scrum Master to join a leading financial institution in Singapore, supporting a pivotal Murex New Product and Instrument Roll-out initiative. This permanent position demands a professional with deep expertise in Agile project delivery, particularly within the realms of Capital Markets and Banking Technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
- Drive Agile execution collaboratively across multiple business domains including Front Office, Market Risk, Operations, Technology, QA, and Business teams.
- Oversee management of project dependencies, risk mitigation, removing hurdles, and planning releases.
- Coordinate the configuration, integration, testing, deployment, user acceptance testing, and launch phases of Murex system implementations.
- Promote and embed Agile best practices to ensure continuous process and performance improvements.
- Deliver regular progress and performance reports utilizing tools such as Jira dashboards, Agile metrics, burn-down charts, and RAID logs.
Candidate Profile
- More than eight years of experience in Agile delivery environments.
- At least three years serving specifically as a Scrum Master.
- Proven track record in executing transformational programmes in Banking or Capital Markets sectors.
- Solid understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile frameworks.
- Prior exposure to Murex preferred; experience with Calypso, Summit, or Kondor+ is also valuable.
- Exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement and effective communication.
- Experience in managing distributed, cross-functional teams.
- Practical knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or comparable platforms.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe certification is advantageous.
- Experience working on Front Office, Treasury, or Market Risk programs.
- Familiarity with Release Management and Software Development Life Cycle governance.
- Background in blended Agile and Waterfall delivery frameworks.
