About the Client

Our client is an established electrical contracting company based in Texas with close to three decades of experience. Renowned for fostering enduring client relationships, they specialize in tackling some of the most challenging greenfield industrial construction projects nationwide. Their diverse project portfolio includes oil and gas, data centers, semiconductor manufacturing facilities, industrial water systems, and power infrastructure. The company operates under leadership deeply rooted in core values emphasizing client relationships and accountability, supported by an experienced network of field superintendents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all current projects at a senior leadership level to ensure consistent execution quality and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with company ownership to steer operational strategies, project choice, and develop the project management team.
  • Guide and mentor Project Managers to strengthen the project management capability across projects.
  • Act as a key escalation contact for project challenges, client issues, and facilitate cross-functional cooperation.
  • Develop and enhance operational procedures, reporting frameworks, and project control systems.
  • Support business growth by maintaining vital client relationships and aiding in new business opportunities.
  • Assess staffing requirements across various projects and work with field leaders on resource allocation.
  • Promote continuous improvements in project scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years in electrical construction including at least 5 years in senior project leadership roles.
  • Extensive experience with large-scale greenfield industrial construction projects such as oil and gas, data centers, semiconductors, power, or industrial water sectors.
  • Proven leadership in project management team development.
  • Strong financial skills relevant to managing extensive project portfolios.
  • Effective communication abilities with field personnel and executive clients.
  • Willingness to travel to project locations as required.
  • Preferred candidates will have held Director, Vice President, or Senior Project Manager positions within industrial electrical contracting firms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or similar discipline desired.
  • Experience managing project portfolios exceeding $200 million annually is advantageous.

Additional Information
