Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and meticulous Scientific Content & Clinical Associate to join our team temporarily onsite in Carson, CA. This position focuses on supporting the creation of various technical documents related to cosmetic science, including detailed descriptions of ingredient functionalities, skin biology explanations, clinical trial summaries, and educational materials for skin active ingredients.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research on cosmetic ingredients and their roles.
- Document fundamental skin biology and the interactions of cosmetic actives with skin.
- Summarize findings from cosmetic clinical trials.
- Prepare claim support documentation for new product launches and reformulations.
- Produce clear and accurate technical content explaining cosmetic ingredient functionalities.
- Develop educational brochures and training materials about skin actives and their mechanisms.
- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and subject matter experts to gather information and verify technical accuracy.
- Edit and proofread documents ensuring clarity and coherence.
- Stay informed on the latest cosmetic science research and industry trends through training and continuous learning.
Candidate Profile
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, or related disciplines.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Strong research and analytical proficiency.
- Adept at translating complex scientific data into accessible content.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with scientific literature and research databases is advantageous.
- Self-driven, proactive, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Willing to accept feedback and engage in ongoing professional development.
