What We Are Looking For
The ideal person is dependable, pleasant, and takes pride in doing the job well. You will represent the company within the school, so a positive attitude and a calm, helpful approach matter.
This role involves handling 14 kg boxes and may require climbing stairs, so applicants should be comfortable with that level of physical activity. You should also be able to work quickly, stay composed under pressure, and complete tasks carefully.
Experience working with children or food is helpful, but it is not essential. Candidates from all backgrounds are welcome, and full guidance will be provided.
Basic English reading ability is required so you can follow instructions and safely heat each meal.
Working Pattern
This is a part-time position with 4 hours of work per day, Monday to Friday. The role follows the academic calendar, so you will typically work about 183 days per year and have school holidays, including summer, off.
Training
HACCP training and manual handling training will be provided.
Pay and Benefits
The hourly rate for this role is €14.65. You will also be part of a supportive team and benefit from a flexible schedule that suits school term time. The job offers the chance to work in a friendly school environment and enjoy time off when schools are closed.
Additional Information
This opportunity is well suited to someone looking to return to work, keep a steady routine during school terms, or take on a role that fits around day-to-day life. The work is meaningful and contributes directly to children’s daily experience at school.
