About the Role

KBR is growing steadily across defense, transport, water, and energy sectors and is recruiting Scheduler/Planner professionals to join its Project Controls team in Adelaide. This position involves supporting project planning and execution by creating, maintaining, and analyzing schedules within complex, multidisciplinary programs. Responsibilities will vary according to experience, with senior roles requiring more ownership of scheduling delivery and stakeholder communication.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update baseline project schedules.
  • Perform schedule analysis, assessing critical path, float, and progress trends.
  • Contribute to monthly reporting and Project Status Reports.
  • Apply schedule risk assessments, contingency plans, and scenario modeling.
  • Construct and manage resource-loaded schedules and profiles.
  • Work collaboratively with Project Managers and delivery teams.
  • Ensure schedule integrity through checks and alignment with control standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Scheduler level: 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Senior Scheduler level: 8 or more years of experience.
  • Expertise with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project scheduling software.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; Power BI experience is an asset.
  • Strong communication and time management aptitudes.
  • Possession or eligibility for Baseline/NV1 security clearance is preferred for defense projects but not mandatory for non-defense roles.
