About the Role
Tractebel is looking for a skilled Scheduler Specialist to contribute to major infrastructure and urban development projects in Jeddah. This position involves developing, maintaining, and assessing project schedules while collaborating with various stakeholders such as Project Managers, Engineers, Contractors, Consultants, and Clients to facilitate effective planning, schedule monitoring, and control.
This role is ideal for professionals experienced in infrastructure, utilities, transportation, water, urban development, or large-scale engineering projects. Key Responsibilities
- Create, update, and manage detailed project timelines using Primavera P6 software.
- Develop initial baseline schedules, updated schedules, and recovery plans as needed.
- Track project advancements and analyze schedule performance relative to approved baselines.
- Perform Critical Path Method analyses and identify potential schedule risks along with mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate schedules submitted by contractors and subcontractors for conformance.
- Coordinate planning efforts between engineering, procurement, construction, and management teams.
- Generate progress reports, dashboards, KPI summaries, and detailed schedule evaluations.
- Support project control activities by forecasting schedules and monitoring performance metrics.
- Engage in project coordination meetings involving internal and external stakeholders.
- Detect scheduling limitations and suggest improvements to enhance project delivery effectiveness.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in planning, scheduling, or project control roles.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure, utilities, transportation, water, urban development, or large engineering projects.
- Expertise in Primavera P6 software.
- Solid comprehension of baseline programming, progress tracking, schedule updates, and recovery planning.
- Proven ability to prepare progress reports and analyze schedule performance.
- Effective communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
Preferred:
- Background in Engineering Consultancy, PMC, PMO, or top-tier infrastructure contractors.
- Experience working on infrastructure projects within Saudi Arabia.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
- Availability to start immediately.
