Scalamandre Book Station Helper

Role overview

STARK is looking for a reliable, driven team member to assist with day-to-day production and warehouse activities. The position focuses on keeping work moving smoothly by checking materials for quality and correctness, stacking and marking products as instructed, keeping equipment and work areas tidy, and working safely at all times.

Schedule

This is a Monday to Friday shift from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM.

What you'll do

• Learn quickly and carry out instructions as given.
• Handle production support tasks that help maintain efficient operations.
• Inspect books/pages to confirm they are free from damage and in the correct sequence.
• Stack and bundle pages according to direction.
• Label and prepare pages and covers as instructed.
• Clean work areas and machinery.
• Use power equipment safely and only as trained.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures throughout the shift.
• Work in warehouse conditions, including extreme temperatures.
• Cross-train and support other tasks or areas when needed.

Requirements

• Ability to understand and follow written and spoken directions accurately.
• Comfort with basic measurements in inches and meters.
• Capability to lift at least 30 pounds consistently.
• Ability to remain on your feet and stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Willingness to work in challenging warehouse weather conditions, including heat and cold.
• Safe operation of power equipment once trained.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure products are correct, complete, and undamaged.
• Readiness to cross-train and assist in multiple areas.
