Job description
Role Overview and Responsibilities
This position involves developing and refining data collection and analysis methods to prepare projected scenarios of global oil markets and monthly estimates of expected oil stockpiles. These projections adapt to developments and forecasts related to Saudi Arabia's oil demand and global economic factors. The expert recommends conceptual frameworks and negotiation options accordingly.
Key duties include advising on the evaluation, drafting, and monitoring of decisions related to oil price agreements; providing consultation during preparatory meetings for conferences and seminars internally and externally linked to the domain; participating in creating quota allocation schedules if new production reduction agreements are discussed; and managing monthly petroleum data submissions to relevant authorities.
The role also includes advising in external meetings pertinent to oil markets and national security issues, overseeing the preparation of media messages when required, complying with workplace conduct standards and cybersecurity policies, and undertaking additional tasks as assigned by direct supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field
- At least six years of experience in a similar domain
