About the Role

Join the South Australia Police Call Centre team where every call impacts the safety and welfare of the community. As the initial contact point for Emergency Triple Zero (000), Police Assistance Line (131 444), and Crime Stoppers SA, the role demands composure, clarity, and empathy during critical situations. Consultants provide vital reassurance and guidance, handling urgent calls with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities

Call Centre Consultants must exercise sound judgment and work independently when managing non-emergency, complex, and emergency (000) calls. They apply broad knowledge of SAPOL’s functions and policies while respecting cultural and social diversity, ensuring community needs are met effectively and respectfully.

Special Requirements

  • Applicants must have current Australian work eligibility and will undergo criminal history screening.
