Role Summary
The SAP SD/MM/WM Consultant plays a crucial role in supporting the sales and supply chain operations by delivering system solutions grounded in the SAP SD and MM modules. This position demands a blend of technical proficiency with advisory capacity in sales and logistics. You'll also develop competencies in related SAP modules such as SM, QM, and PP to become a comprehensive system expert across the end-to-end supply chain, taking on expanding responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Possess expert-level knowledge of SAP SD, MM, and WM modules' capabilities and configurations.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of sales and logistics processes and familiarity with adjacent areas including production and fundamental finance.
- Lead project initiatives, provide training related to sales and logistics SAP modules, and offer helpdesk support.
- Manage the full development cycle: analyzing requirements, crafting and testing solutions, training users, and ensuring high-quality implementation.
- Create structured documentation and training materials tailored to the solutions provided.
- Respond flexibly and effectively to urgent system issues when they arise.
- Oversee complex projects within stringent deadlines to guarantee timely delivery.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of proven experience in SAP SD, MM, and WM modules, notably within companies with international operations encompassing at least two full project lifecycles.
- Strong skills in project management and delivering effective presentations.
- Hands-on experience with configuration and system development in SAP's SD, MM, and WM modules, including understanding user exits and ABAP programming basics.
- Proficiency in Chinese to facilitate communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence applications and agents is advantageous.
- Knowledge in related SAP modules is considered a significant asset.
- Willingness to undertake international travel, primarily within the Asia region.
