Role overview
Deloitte Shared Services India is looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA PP/DS Consultant to support implementation, rollout, enhancement, and ongoing support work across different business units in Bengaluru.
What you will do
- Drive end-to-end PP/DS delivery, including implementations, rollouts, enhancements, and production support.
- Understand business needs and convert them into practical, scalable SAP PP/DS solutions.
- Configure and fine-tune PP/DS features such as heuristics, optimizer, planning board, and product view.
- Handle CIF integration and resolve issues so planning and execution data flows smoothly.
- Maintain core master data objects, including PDS/PPM, resources, work centers, and production versions.
- Develop solutions for finite scheduling, capacity planning, and sequencing approaches.
- Work closely with teams from PP, MM, SD, QM, and EWM to deliver integrated outcomes.
- Participate in unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing, and close defects effectively.
- Provide production support, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve planning and scheduling issues in a timely manner.
- Improve planning performance by optimizing the use of heuristics and tuning the optimizer.
Experience required
The role calls for 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in SAP PP/DS.
