SAP S/4 HANA MDG Consultant - Technical and Functional Lead

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced SAP MDG Consultants to work in Hyderabad, India, specializing in both technical and functional aspects of SAP Master Data Governance within the SAP S/4HANA ecosystem. This role involves leading project efforts, designing enterprise-level architectures, and ensuring the quality and governance of master data.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and support SAP MDG applications including configuring data models and creating Business Rules Framework Plus (BRF+) rules.
• Create UI enhancements, integrate MDG with other systems, and implement technical solutions to maintain data quality.
• Work collaboratively with functional teams to implement scalable master data governance frameworks tailored to business requirements.
• Analyze requirements, design, develop, and implement master data solutions across customer, vendor, financial, and material domains.
• Provide expert advice on solution approaches from technical feasibility and best practice perspectives.
• Lead projects independently, offering technical guidance and support for customer discussions focused on design and development.
• Design and execute enterprise-level master data architectures.
• Recommend best practice solutions by staying informed on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards.
• Take leadership roles in project execution and collaborate extensively with customers and internal teams.
• Configure and support SAP MDG functional solutions by analyzing business needs, implementing data models, workflows, and data quality rules.
• Advise on objects including customers, suppliers, materials, and financial entities such as cost centers, charts of accounts, and profit centers.
• Implement data governance policies, procedures, and standards while ensuring compliance.
• Provide training and workshops for end-users and coordinate integration with SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP NetWeaver systems.
• Maintain awareness of SAP MDG releases and best practices and communicate with customers for requirement gathering and design sign-offs.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Any graduate with strong knowledge of SAP MDG and master data management concepts.
• Experience in at least two end-to-end implementation projects and two support projects.
• Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, along with familiarity with ITIL processes.
• Practical knowledge of SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP NetWeaver.
• Understanding of core master data domains including customer, vendor, materials, and financial data.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders in multi-vendor environments.
• Capacity to lead projects technically and contribute as a team player.
• Willingness to continuously learn and develop technical expertise.
• SAP MDG certification will be considered an advantage.
