Job Overview
Biomed Solutions India is seeking a skilled Tender Manager with 2 to 8 years of experience to operate within the medical devices, healthcare, and pharmaceutical sectors. The successful candidate will manage complete tender processes, including opportunity identification, bid preparation, compliance assurance, and coordination with various stakeholders to secure valuable contracts.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify and monitor government and private tenders relevant to medical equipment, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare services.
- Oversee the entire tender process, from pre-qualification to submission and follow-up after award.
- Develop and submit compliant, high-quality tender documents timely.
- Analyze tender specifications, technical requirements, and commercial conditions.
- Collaborate with sales, technical, legal, and finance departments to ensure accurate documentation and pricing.
- Ensure that all tenders meet regulatory and statutory standards pertinent to healthcare.
- Maintain records of tender submissions, outcomes, and communications with clients.
- Engage with clients, government agencies, and procurement officials.
- Monitor competitors’ bidding tactics and stay updated on market trends.
- Manage tender negotiations, clarifications, and contract closures.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related domain.
- Demonstrated experience managing tenders in medical, healthcare, or pharmaceutical sectors.
- Good knowledge of government tender platforms such as GeM and eProcurement.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and documentation capabilities.
- Strong understanding of medical product compliance and regulatory frameworks.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Credentials
- MBA or relevant postgraduate degree.
- Experience handling international tender procedures.
- Knowledge of hospital procurement processes and medical device regulations.
