SAP MM Functional Consultant

Role overview

An experienced SAP Materials Management consultant is needed to support end-to-end implementations, ongoing support, and improvement initiatives. The role centers on procurement, inventory control, and integration across connected SAP modules.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain SAP MM processes, including purchasing, procurement, inventory control, and invoice verification.
• Collect business needs and translate them into functional specifications.
• Carry out system configuration, testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Manage core master data such as material master, vendor master, and purchasing info records.
• Define and maintain organizational structures including plants, storage locations, purchasing organizations, and purchasing groups.
• Support purchasing flows such as purchase requisitions, RFQs, quotations, purchase orders, goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfer orders, and invoice verification.
• Assist with inventory processes, physical stock counts, and stock movement activities.
• Work with technical teams on custom developments, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
• Ensure smooth integration between SAP MM and SAP SD, SAP FI/CO, SAP PP, SAP WM/EWM, and QM.
• Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and provide ongoing application support.
• Prepare documentation, user guides, and deliver training to end users.

Required experience and qualifications

The position calls for 3 to 9 years of relevant experience in SAP MM functional work. Candidates should be graduates and must have practical experience across implementation, support, and enhancement assignments.
