Role Overview

We seek a proficient Mid-Level SAP Finance Manager to oversee and optimize key SAP applications such as S4Hana Cloud, SAP Analytical Cloud (including Planning), SAP Group Reporting, and Concur. Partnering closely with the Global Finance Organization, this role is pivotal in streamlining SAP systems and processes to boost operational efficiency while undertaking select controllership duties. A solid expertise in SAP modules, configuration capabilities, and integration understanding is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert knowledge in SAP Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Group Reporting, and SAP analytics.
• Configure and customize SAP systems aligning with business needs.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and maintain SAP solutions.
• Analyze and resolve SAP-related issues efficiently.
• Perform routine system audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
• Engage with end-users to gather requirements and translate them into effective SAP functionalities.
• Stay informed about the latest SAP developments and industry best practices to suggest improvements.
• Develop and deliver financial presentations to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders to aid business decision-making and partner with front office or functional units to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and controls.
• Offer controllership support as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 5 years’ experience as an SAP Specialist focusing on S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Group Reporting, SAP FICO, SAP Analytical Cloud, and SAP Concur.
• Preferably SAP certified, though not mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Skilled in SAP configuration, implementation, and support.
• Comprehensive understanding of SAP integrations with other applications.
• Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting and Consolidations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across stakeholders.
• For Montreal-based candidates, fluency in both French and English (written and spoken) is required; for Toronto, strong English communication skills are essential.

Additional Details

• The company operates under a hybrid work model with four days per week on-site attendance.
• The salary range for the role in Ontario is C$130,000 to C$145,000, with eligibility for bonuses and additional employee benefits.
• This opening is a replacement hire.
• For Quebec roles (Montreal and Laval), bilingual proficiency in French and English is mandatory to service global clients effectively.
