About EY and the opportunity
EY is seeking an experienced SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) Functional Consultant to join its technology consulting practice in Auckland, New Zealand. This role is suited to someone who can bring SAP finance expertise to help shape strategy, architecture, and solution delivery for clients.
As part of a globally connected team, you will contribute to building improved financial processes and reporting through SAP solutions. The role focuses on designing, configuring, implementing, supporting, and refining SAP FICO capabilities while working closely with other teams and business stakeholders.
This position is preferably based in Auckland, New Zealand.
Key responsibilities
- Develop SAP FICO solutions that align with business needs and operational goals.
- Set up and tailor SAP FICO components to improve finance workflows and reporting outcomes.
- Connect SAP FICO functionality with related business processes and enterprise systems.
- Support live SAP FICO environments and drive ongoing enhancements and performance improvements.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and alignment with business priorities.
Skills and experience
- Hands-on experience delivering end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP FICO modules and financial process design.
- Background in consulting would be highly valued.
- Exposure to reporting, planning, and Signavio is an added advantage.
- Proven ability to configure, test, and support SAP finance solutions.
