Role Overview

This opening is for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to handle finance and controlling implementation work, enhancements, rollouts, and production support. The role calls for strong functional knowledge of SAP FI and CO, solid business process understanding, and close collaboration with business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and support SAP FI and CO functionality.
• Collect business needs and convert them into workable SAP solutions.
• Contribute to full-cycle SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support assignments.
• Configure core finance areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting.
• Handle controlling processes including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis.
• Carry out month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support tax setup, withholding tax, electronic bank statements, and automatic payment programs.
• Work with technical teams on RICEF objects, interfaces, reports, forms, and enhancements.
• Participate in functional testing, user acceptance testing support, issue fixing, and documentation.
• Provide production support and resolve incidents within agreed SLA timelines.
• Coordinate with teams across MM, SD, PP, WM/EWM, and ABAP.

Requirements

• 6 to 10 years of experience in SAP FICO.
• Strong hands-on configuration experience in SAP FI and CO.
• Practical exposure to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting.
• Experience with Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, and CO-PA.
• Good knowledge of finance closing activities.
• Preference for candidates with SAP S/4HANA Finance exposure.
• Understanding of how SAP FICO integrates with SAP MM and SAP SD.
• Experience using LSMW or Migration Cockpit for data migration.
• Familiarity with IDocs, interfaces, and basic ABAP debugging.
• Strong analytical ability, communication skills, and stakeholder management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• SAP FICO certification is an advantage.
• At least one end-to-end implementation and support project is preferred.
