Role Overview
This opportunity is for an SAP ERP Financial Accounting (FI) Consultant based in Kolkata. The role calls for hands-on experience in SAP FI consulting and project delivery, with a strong focus on finance process design, implementation support, and client-facing advisory work.
Responsibilities
- Offer subject-matter support across core SAP FI areas, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Cash Management.
- Support the configuration and rollout of SAP FICO solutions for client requirements.
- Work closely with teams across functions to ensure consulting engagements are delivered effectively and to a high standard.
- Build and maintain client relationships through clear, professional communication.
- Keep current with market developments and proven practices in improving finance operations and workflows.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have 5 to 9 years of experience in SAP ERP Financial Accounting (FI) consulting or a closely related position. A degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, or a similar discipline is required. An MBA is preferred but not compulsory. Candidates should also have a solid grasp of end-to-end SAP FI implementation work, and having completed at least two full-cycle implementations will be considered an advantage.
Education and Eligibility
Applicants should hold a B.Tech/B.E. in any specialization or a B.Com in any specialization. Candidates with BBA, MBA, or related qualifications are also relevant to the profile, with MBA treated as optional rather than mandatory.
