Role Overview and Key Responsibilities

• Take charge of end-to-end SAP Ariba implementation projects, overseeing design, configuration, testing, rollout, and ongoing post-launch support.
• Design and customize SAP Ariba modules to meet client business needs and procurement best practices, focusing on Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, Procurement (Buying & Invoicing), Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP), and Ariba Network & Commerce Automation.
• Collaborate with technical teams to plan and implement seamless integration between SAP Ariba and core ERP systems like S/4HANA using SAP Cloud Integration Gateway, facilitating smooth data exchange for purchase orders, invoices, and other documents.
• Conduct workshops with stakeholders from Procurement, Accounts Payable, Legal, Finance, and IT departments to gather requirements and translate them into actionable functional and technical specifications.
• Lead master data initiatives including data migration, rationalization, supplier master data deduplication, catalog alignment, and configuration of user and approval workflows.
• Deliver user training sessions, develop comprehensive documentation such as configuration guides and process flows, and provide ongoing troubleshooting and support to ensure optimal user adoption.
• Coordinate and support all testing phases including Functional Unit Testing, System Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing, managing defect fixes and planning system cutover.
• Keep updated on the latest SAP Ariba advancements, industry trends, and best practices to suggest system improvements enhancing efficiency and user experience.
• Administer and upgrade existing Ariba P2P and Contract Management modules to meet evolving business needs.
• Serve as the main point of contact bridging internal stakeholders and Ariba support teams.
• Oversee catalog management tasks, including enabling punchout catalogs, managing vendor pricing, and minimizing off-contract spend.
• Optimize invoice-to-pay procedures by automating processes, addressing invoice discrepancies, and improving early payment benefits.
• Develop and maintain monthly procurement dashboards highlighting spend under management, contract compliance, and purchase order cycle times.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience as an SAP Ariba Consultant with demonstrable success in full lifecycle implementations.
• Proficient in configuring at least two to three core SAP Ariba modules such as Sourcing, Procure-to-Pay, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance, and Contract Management.
• Experienced in integrating SAP Ariba with SAP ECC or S/4HANA environments, particularly skilled with SAP Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG).
• In-depth knowledge of Source-to-Contract and Procure-to-Pay business processes.
• Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain practices including supplier management and strategic sourcing methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and client interaction skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and business teams.
• Educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, Supply Chain, or related disciplines.

Compensation

The offered salary range for this position is between 500,000 and 1,000,000 INR annually.
