Job description

Role overview

Join a team focused on reshaping how design is experienced worldwide. This position sits within Canva’s GTM Technology Systems group and supports the Sales & Success organization, with an emphasis on the Lead to Opportunity workflow that helps sellers move leads through to closed opportunities more efficiently.

Working setup

Canva’s main office is in Sydney, Australia, and its US operations are based on a campus in Austin, Texas. For this role, candidates have flexibility in how they work, with trust placed in team members to choose the balance that helps them and their team perform at their best. The position is listed as onsite in San Francisco, CA.

What you will do

  • Support delivery of features in the Lead to Opportunity area of the GTM Systems team, with guidance from senior team members, to improve seller productivity.
  • Partner with Sales Ops, Customer Success, Partner Ops, Finance, and other cross-functional groups to translate business needs into well-defined requirements and user stories.
  • Spot friction in everyday workflows and help remove steps that slow sellers down.
  • Find practical ways to use AI to speed up work, simplify seller processes, and reduce manual effort.
  • Work alongside senior administrators and developers to configure solutions for Accounts, Opportunities, and related Salesforce objects.
  • Build and maintain advanced Flows and automations.
  • Protect data quality and follow platform governance standards.
  • Create test cases and help run UAT sessions with stakeholders.
  • Respond to routine system questions from stakeholders, help resolve workflow blockers, and grow into a dependable Salesforce admin support partner.

What we are looking for

This opportunity is best suited to someone early in their Salesforce career who is curious about AI, enjoys experimenting with new tools, and wants to make the sales experience easier. The team will provide mentoring and business context, while you bring strong administration skills and a problem-solving mindset.

  • 2–3 years of practical Salesforce administration experience.
  • Required certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator, plus either Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities and best practices, including Flows, validation rules, and reports in Sales Cloud.
  • Comfort using AI tools to speed up development, generate code, build agents, and draft requirements, with enthusiasm to keep learning in an AI-native environment.
  • A proactive mindset for identifying how AI can streamline processes and reduce manual work.
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools and practices such as Gearset and Copado.
  • Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Salesloft, ZoomInfo, Gong, customer success platforms, Workato, and Clay.
  • Experience with process mapping, user stories, and working closely with stakeholders.
  • Background in Agile teams and collaboration with developers.

Team context

You will be part of the GTM Technology Systems team inside the Sales & Success Supergroup. The team supports global go-to-market teams by building and maintaining systems that help leads progress smoothly into opportunities and beyond.

Compensation

The target base salary for this role is between $114,000 and $140,000 per year. Final compensation is determined using market data along with the selected candidate’s skills and experience.

Benefits

  • Equity packages so employees can share in the company’s success.
  • Health benefit plans for wellbeing support.
  • A 401(k) retirement plan with company contribution.
  • An inclusive parental leave policy for all parents and carers.
  • An annual Vibe & Thrive allowance for wellbeing, social connection, office setup, and related needs.
  • Flexible leave options to support rest, personal needs, and time to recharge.
