The Sales Strategy and Operations team supports sales leadership and operational groups in reaching business goals and improving field productivity. The team manages business-operating rhythms, creates new mechanisms to help the organization grow and scale, and drives important initiatives across the business.

AWS is hiring a Sales Strategy and Operations Lead for Saudi Arabia to join the Middle East team. This position blends analytical work with operational discipline, using data analysis and modeling to support sales leaders and their teams. The role helps maintain business health and enables data-backed decisions across the region. It also requires working with large, complex datasets from different sources and turning them into reports and focused business analysis that influence decisions.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will partner with Sales Leadership and operational teams to strengthen execution, improve productivity, and support organizational objectives through analytics and operational support.

You will develop reports, perform specialized business analysis, and use data modeling to guide decision-making for the Saudi Arabia region and the wider Middle East team.

You will contribute to building and improving processes, tools, and operating mechanisms that support business growth, scale, and sales effectiveness.

Basic qualifications

  • More than 10 years of experience working with Microsoft Excel.
  • A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience creating and rolling out systems or tools used for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, or similar business functions.
  • Experience defining, improving, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies, or comparable work.
  • Strong ability to use Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform, or BI tools.
  • Experience presenting findings and recommendations to senior leaders.

Preferred qualifications

  • More than 10 years of experience in sales operations or a closely related field.
