Job description

Role overview

We are hiring a practical, results-driven Sales Specialist for the Bolt Food team in Ghana. In this role, you will help grow sales by identifying potential partners, presenting the offer, negotiating terms, and closing agreements for small and medium-sized accounts.

About the company

Bolt operates across more than 50 countries and serves over 200 million users, making it one of the fastest-growing technology companies in Europe and Africa. The company is built around its people and is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where everyone is treated with respect, regardless of race, colour, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, age, or ability.

The broader mission is to create cities designed for people rather than cars, and this role contributes directly to that goal.

What the role involves

Your main focus will be building relationships with restaurant partners and negotiating arrangements that benefit both sides. Once a partnership is secured, you will help hand over the account smoothly to the Operations and Account Management teams so that onboarding is seamless.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle the sales pipeline end to end, including lead processing, prospecting, cold outreach, meeting coordination, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for new partners, support them through onboarding, address operational and administrative concerns, and manage current accounts effectively to deliver strong business outcomes.
  • Coordinate closely with Operations to ensure partner activations go smoothly and with Account Management to support restaurant growth on the platform.
  • Maintain accurate records of emails, calls, and follow-up actions in the CRM so that each account has a complete activity history.
  • Meet growth targets by expanding sales and nurturing strong, productive partner relationships.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant has at least 1 year of experience in sales or a related area, preferably within the food delivery sector. Strong English communication, negotiation, and teamwork abilities are important, along with the capacity to analyse information and work comfortably with data tools and, ideally, a CRM system.

You should be comfortable in a fast-moving environment, able to adapt quickly, overcome challenges, and take ownership of your work. A proactive, solution-oriented approach is highly valued.

Experience is helpful, but drive, intelligence, and integrity matter just as much. Candidates who do not meet every requirement are still encouraged to consider applying.

Why this role stands out

  • Contribute directly to the future of mobility.
  • Help shape experiences for millions of customers and partners across 600+ cities in 50+ countries.
  • Join agile, autonomous teams and work alongside highly capable colleagues.
  • Build your career with strong growth and advancement opportunities.
  • Receive a competitive salary along with stock options.
  • Work in a hybrid setup with at least 2 days in the office each week to support collaboration and team connection.
  • Access wellness benefits that support both physical and mental health.
  • Some benefits may vary by location and role.
