Key Responsibilities
- Provide transportation for customers and dealership staff as required.
- Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles by thoroughly cleaning both interiors and exteriors.
- Perform general upkeep of dealership grounds and buildings.
- Organize daily vehicle parking for sales and service departments.
- Remove protective coverings and identification tags from vehicles before delivery to customers.
- Inspect vehicles for any stains, debris, or damages and promptly report any issues.
- Assist with service write-ups, vehicle tagging, shop clean-up, and deliveries.
- Perform seasonal cleaning tasks such as snow removal from vehicles.
- Identify merchandising needs or lot issues and communicate them to management.
- Place advertising signage on and inside vehicles.
- Monitor and coordinate vehicle progress through the reconditioning process.
- Maintain lot cleanliness, including garbage removal.
- Ensure cars and showroom displays are clean and smudge-free.
- Deliver dealer trades to nearby stores and provide transportation home for customers when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Interest in the automotive sector and knowledge about vehicles.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Capability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Experience using cleaning products and equipment such as power washers is advantageous.
- Dependable and reliable with a strong eye for detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
